Encyclopedia Of Mutts is a zine made to challenge purebred myth, reimagines mixed-breed dogs as official "breeds," celebrating their unique charm and individuality.
The zine introduced 12 unique mix-breed dogs, with articles, photos and dozens of handmade illustrations about their origin, quirks and stories.
The design of the zine is inspired by field guides and handbooks alike, with limited color print and structured, formatted layout. Interactive pieces such as flipping details, interstitial pages and cards are incorperated throughout the book, to enrich the reading experience.
