Cattitude is a mood-journaling app, aiming to help users improve their mental health by reflecting on complicated emotions with relatable cat memes. Inspired by the viral meme “Which cat are you today?” Cattitude encourages users to normalize negativities in their lives with a sense of humor.
Interviews with cat meme sharers and journal users revealed four user types for Cattitude. My aim is to identify key traits that resonate with users' diverse motivations and needs, crafting a visual identity that strikes a balance between the raw nature of memes and a friendly look-and-feel.
